Leveraging my expertise in design operations and professional development, I've enhanced the capabilities of our 6-person Design Team, supporting a growing suite of 10+ market-leading products both domestically and internationally. I continue to deliver on my UX Strategy that will unify our design standards and enable the organization to deliver on their short term goals and future vision.

Below are my accomplishments at Accruent in leadership, product delivery, design thinking and strategic execution.

From 2023-2024 I worked with my team on the successful launch of the next version of the Healthcare Asset Management System (TMS) product that played a key role in delivering on my long-term UX strategy to unify experiences and support new SaaS revenue goals.

The original version of TMS only worked in specific browsers (some no longer supported) and was unusable on tablet and mobile devices. Customers had to create their own training curriculum that could last months to complete, just to learn how to use the application.

The new version of TMS was fully responsive and adaptive to any device (desktop, tablet, mobile) and was based on our new components based Design System using Material Design as a foundation.

Through an extensive Beta Program, we were able to rapidly test iterations and refinements to the product, all based on actual customer usage in the field.

The responsive new mobile version of TMS was based on actual technicians usage in the field . We were able to observe the technicians using the product on service calls and gather real-time feedback to ensure that we were providing them with an efficient task-based experience.

In 2024, I was responsible for leading the Accessibility strategy and the selection of a partner (Level Access) to further our efforts to make the full product suite 508 and WCAG 2.2 AA compliant.

I've maintained a focus on bolstering our high-performing team, upholding strict standards for Accessibility (508 and WCAG 2.2 AA), brand consistency, content strategy, and the integrity of our Design System. My leadership has fostered a self-reliant team culture, adept in Kanban and Design Thinking, and has led the shift to a streamlined Figma workflow, enhancing standardization and collaborative efficiency.

Committed to servant leadership, I've actively supported each UX Designer's career progression, aligning with competitive market trajectories through collaborative goal setting. I've also worked with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to define clear 'Definitions of Done' and refine Jira workflows, ensuring effective delivery pipelines within our agile, scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
